A boutique litigation and general counsel practice advising companies, boards, and their principals on their most consequential matters.

Considered counsel for complex disputes and the companies that need a lawyer in the room.

Clients come to this firm when the stakes are real — a lawsuit that can’t be lost, a deal that can’t fall apart, a business that needs seasoned judgment on call rather than a large firm’s overhead. The work is partner-led from first call to resolution. You’ll always know who is handling your matter, because it’s the same person every time.

Practice Areas

Complex Commercial Litigation

High-stakes commercial disputes — contract, partnership, and shareholder litigation and arbitration — handled with the rigor of a large firm and the focus of a boutique.

A trusted advisor on call — serving as outside general counsel to companies and their leadership, and as a resource to in-house legal teams and other law firms. From contracts and governance to partnership and shareholder matters, and the strategic decisions that shape a business, delivered with the discretion and responsiveness of dedicated counsel.

Outside General Counsel

Sophisticated counsel across acquisitions, financing, and development — guiding major projects through New York City’s land use and approval process, and resolving high-stakes disputes among owners, sponsors, and investors.

Real Estate & Development

Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic transactions — with the careful negotiation of the shareholder, partnership, and executive agreements that define how sophisticated businesses grow, combine, and change hands.

Your Questions, Answered

How does the firm work with clients?

The firm is partner-led. Brian personally handles each matter from first call to resolution, so you always work directly with the lawyer doing the work — not a rotating team.

Can you collaborate with our existing in-house counsel or advisors?

Absolutely. We frequently work alongside internal legal teams, accountants, and consultants to create cohesive strategies. Clear communication protocols are established early to ensure alignment and efficiency.

What types of clients does the firm work with?

Companies, their boards, and the principals behind them — from founders and growth companies to established enterprises — across real estate, energy and infrastructure, hospitality, and financial services.
